Over the coming months, we will be promoting our best local pubs and must-see attractions in our news section, giving our future guests all the information they need to enjoy a fantastic stay at Arbennig. The first pub we would love to share with you is just a 10-minute walk from our lodges, in the village of Eryrys. The charming Sun Inn is a warm, welcoming Welsh village inn renowned for its award-winning cask ales and delicious range of wholesome home-cooked food. Nestled in the beautiful Clwydian Range, the Sun Inn is well worth a visit – especially as it is one of the highest pubs in Wales at 1,148ft above sea level! Its location is ideal for walkers and cyclists as there is a multitude of walking routes and cycling trails in the area. After a day of exploration, be sure to make time for a pint in front of the traditional wood burning stove.
