When we arrived the cabin on the inside was beautiful and clean, the mood lighting was set and a guest board wrote 'Welcome Sian and Guests, Enjoy xx' Karen came over and told us how to work things, she was lovely and bubbly and a great host. The view from our cabin was gorgeous, looking onto a private lake and hillside. The hot tub was amazing and was kept clean by the lovely hosts throughout our stay, there is also an overhead cover for when the weather isnt too great. Little touches made a difference, fresh white bedding and clean towels, and in the cabin was a folder with menus from local restaurants and takeaways, local activities and things to do. We really enjoyed our stay and would return tomorrow if we could!

Our third time staying here and we have planned to return again. Always an excellent stay for the family! Everything about the property is luxurious, the finishings and the furnishings. Nothing is too much trouble and you feel very looked after from start to finish.

Absolutely loved our stay here! The lodge was really spacious, clean and modern and was in a wonderfully peaceful location. The cleanliness and location of the lodge was amazing. The size of it for 4 people and 2 dogs was perfect and it didn’t feel cramped! Beds were so comfy!

Fabulous lodge, very cosy and homely inside. The most well equipped self catering accommodation I have stayed in, every little detail has been thought through. The outside decking area was great and the hot tub even better! Loved the privacy here, not overlooked and lovely views! Highly recommended! Great host too!

Amazing lodge, very comfortable and well presented. The location was great and the lodge has great views. It’s easily accessible as long as you don’t miss the turn. We took our new born and it was easy to wheel a pram round inside when he was sleeping. The lodge is well stocked with things like plates bowels cups and glasses. It has WiFi and a smart tv. It’s very comfortable, clean and well decorated. We are looking forward to going again.
Lovely home feeling to the lodge it was clean and spacious, warm and smelt lovely. The kitchen is stocked with everything you’ll need to use if wanting to cook etc. We went to just escape and relax and that’s what we got! Comfortable bed, hot tub was a perfect temperature and was lovely and relaxing of an evening just looking at the view. The owner is really lovely and welcoming too, Lovely quiet area perfect for a relaxing break. We will definitely be booking again!

We went away for a relaxing break, and that is exactly what we had. The lodge was clean, and spacious. It was in a quiet location where we were all able to just switch off from our busy everyday lives & just chill. The hot tub was so lovely and made it that extra bit special. On arrival we met the hosts, who welcomed us - they were both lovely. Communication was very good, and we liked everything about the accommodation. I’m sure we will book again!

It was very comfortable, with modern facilities in a quiet rural location. The lodge is spotless and very well kept. The jacuzzi is checked every morning while you are there. This place is truly breath-taking. The photos on this site don’t do it justice, it’s a lot better ! The hosts Karen and Alex are very friendly and welcoming, we will be back!
