Launching a new business at any time has its challenges, but even more so in the middle of a global pandemic. We were unsure of what to expect when we opened Arbennig luxury lodges to the public, back in August.
We adore where we live and our dream has always been to share its unique beauty with others. More than just an area of outstanding natural beauty, it is a special place where you can forget the stresses of everyday life. This year has been more stressful than most and, as we began to welcome our first guests, it became clear that for them, Arbennig was a much-needed escape – “a place to relax and unwind” – which we were more than happy to provide.
We are so proud to have received such wonderful support and feedback from our guests; a lot of love and hard work has gone into creating Arbennig and it’s incredibly rewarding to have our guests recognise this. Visitors have described a “5-star, first class” retreat, which is “peaceful”, “tranquil” and with “breathtaking views”. They have enjoyed the picturesque scenery surrounding the lodges, and charming walks from the doorstep.
Our lodges are a luxurious home away from home, with all the features you would expect of a relaxing and indulgent stay. Guests love our “beautiful, comfy beds” and “superb” hot tub with sweeping countryside views. We guarantee that it will melt away all your troubles.
We love to champion our local area and its local produce, that is why when you stay at Arbennig you’ll receive a small welcome hamper containing some of our favourite locally made items. Plus, we will be on hand to offer any advice, recommendations for things to do, or anything else you might need during your time here. A warm welcome awaits you when you choose to stay with us.
The sign of a holiday well-spent is the intention to return and do it all over again, and it makes us so happy that our guests plan to do exactly that.
